Sainsbury’s Bishop’s Waltham

The latest statement from Sainsbury’s public relations is as follows:

“In relation to the recent national press coverage regarding a number of sites where Sainsbury’s no longer wish to build a supermarket, I can assure you that Bishop’s Waltham is not one of those sites. Sainsbury’s is continuing work to finalise a detailed construction programme for the new store and to discharge the various pre-commencement planning conditions associated with the planning permission. Sainsbury’s will keep the local community updated as this process moves forward.”
